The Lighthouse Life Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at 5 p.m. at the church. They are currently doing a Spiritual GrowthBible study from Christianity Today. Call the Lukats or Carol Oswalt if you would like to join this group.
The Prayer Shawl Life Group meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 2-4 p.m. They knit or crochet shawls for those who have had serious occasions or health issues to get through. Please call Marcia Cartledge if you would like to join this group.
OCTUP Life Group (formerly The Tuesday Morning Life Group) meets every other Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. For women who like to get up early and enjoy the new beginning of the day—this is the group for you. They are currently studying “Having A Mary Heart in a Martha World”.
The Living Branch Life Group meets on various days of the month, usually the third or fourth Thursday at 10 a.m. at the homes of the different members. They are currently studying John 3:16, using a study guide by Max Lucado. This group is for men and women. Their ongoing service projects are: feeding the homeless by making lunch sacks to take to places where they know hungry people will be; providing towels and blankets to Calvary Refuge Center; and providing an updated directory of services for Clayton County residents.
The Peacemakers Life Group meets at the church on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. The Family of Friends Life Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month at 6 p.m. at the home of Dock & Andra Gammage. This is a great group for those with children. The kids are downstairs in the mega playroom while the adults are upstairs for Bible study. This, of course, comes after a meal of different flavors each week. The group uses different video Bible studies.
